Fifteen-year-old Bětka and her best friend Alma are spending a sleepy summer in a cabin by the lake. More than anything, they long for the fun at the beach bar on the other side of the shore. But Bětka's older sister Marie, who is in charge of the girls, refuses to let them go. The hot days drag on – until Alma meets Aneta, a mysterious girl who has discovered a mysterious pool on an island in the middle of the lake, which is said to have the power to transport a person anywhere in the world. Without hesitation, Alma decides to dive in – and go somewhere that must surely be better. But does such a place even exist? And what would be the price of fulfilling that wish?
