Bronja's carefree upbringing in Ljubljana in the 1970s and 1980s is filled with family closeness, friendships and vivid moments that will stay with her for the rest of her life. After her mother's death, she is forced to grow up prematurely, but over the years she gradually discovers the power of humour, love, and connection with others. When she herself faces illness, Bronja approaches life's challenges with courage, optimism, and faith in new beginnings.
