Tatjana is lonely. Born in Croatia, she lived all over Europe before ending up in Amsterdam. Fifteen years later her teenage son is ashamed of his odd mother with her dreadful Slavic accent, who lacks Dutch restraint. But that is an old problem: Tatjana has always and everywhere felt like a stranger. Now she is determined to finally find the holy grail of belonging, so she visits friends and relatives scattered across Europe and asks them how it is done. In the end, she will have to confront a dark pattern in her own family.

Reviews:
‘Tatjana Božić has wrapped up complex identity dilemmas, averting the risk of a slippery slope between the auteur and performer positions with measured self-irony.’ Vanja Kulaš, Dokumentarni.net
