Premiere screening of films by the participants of the 15th Documentary Film Course
The resulting auteur films are made by the participants under the mentorship of Hrvoslava Brkušić, Katerina Duda, Đuro Gavran, Eva Kraljević, Bojan Mrđenović, Filip Peruzović, Dinka Radonić and Oliver Sertić.
At the final screening on Friday, 17 April at 7 pm at Dokukino KIC, we will premiere the films by the participants of the 15th edition of the Documentary Film Course, who have completed an intensive programme dedicated to creative documentary filmmaking, running from October 2025 to April 2026.
In addition to the mentors and lecturers, the participants learned about film from both domestic and international documentarians and other film professionals: directors Johan Grimonprez, Damian Nenadić, Nebojša Slijepčević, Ana Sunčica Veldić and Tea Vidović Dalipi, editor Jelena Maksimović, sound designers Luka Gamulin and Vladimir Rakić, sound recordist Matija Santra, producer Vanja Jambrović and Head Technician at Restart, Frank Dujmić. The participants of the 15th edition of the Course were: Antea Divić, Ivan Dovranić, Leon Keglević, Mia Jukić, Mariana Lopez Bodart, Dorian Milović, Nina Rac, Dina Uglešić and Teodora Vulović.
Restart's Documentary Film Course is based on the idea that the film medium is now accessible to everyone and that anyone can express themselves through the language of film. Year after year, it teaches its participants both basic and advanced skills needed to make their own documentary film. It has proven to be an important platform for the emergence of new filmmakers, this year marking its 15th anniversary.
The programme was realised with the support of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, the City of Zagreb, the Association of Croatian Film Authors and Producers, the Kultura Nova Foundation and the National Foundation for the Development of Civil Society.
