Something terrible has happened to Agnes. But for the rest of the world, life goes on. When a close friend comes to visit, she realises just how stuck she has become and decides to rejoin the living.
This warm and compassionate drama, with touches of satire, offers a fresh perspective on stories of sexual violence, shifting the focus from trauma to the process of healing. The film was produced by Oscar winner Barry Jenkins (Moonlight).
Best known for her role in the series Billions, Eva Victor delivers a striking performance in the lead role in her feature directorial debut. She also wrote the screenplay, for which she received an award at Sundance.
