In this talk, we will discuss trauma from the perspective of contemporary insights in neuroscience, psychology, and psychotherapy. We will try to understand what happens in the nervous system when we are exposed to experiences that exceed our capacity to manage them, and how trauma shapes the way we feel, think, react and relate to others.
