A programme of the Croatian Film Association which screens domestic and international short fiction, documentary, experimental and animated films once a month. It was launched in 2006 under the name Experimental Tuesday, and has been called Short Tuesday since 2010.

The first Film Curriculum of the season on Tuesday, 13 October at 7 pm at the Cultural and Information Centre presents two different perspectives on the Croatian countryside. 

During one summer, three people born in the 90-ies in Serbia go on a trip to America – driving a “Yugo” from New York to Los Angeles.

Critical Dramaturgy presents three films by Anna Zett, followed by a conversation with the author, organised by Kurziv and SPID. Moderated by Barbara Gregov. Admission is free.

The programme is adapted for pre-school children, including those with heightened sensory sensitivities, who, accompanied by an adult and in a tailored environment, have the opportunity to attend a film screening for the first time. 

The documentary film The Match revisits the iconic encounter between Argentina and England played at the Azteca Stadium during the 1986 FIFA World Cup, intertwining rare archive footage – including Maradona's “Hand of God” – into a powerful reconstruction of the event.

In 1971, hundreds of young people occupied abandoned military barracks in Copenhagen and founded the self-proclaimed free city of Christiania, a wild experiment in freedom and community which over time grew into an alternative to the dominant social order. 

The young Allan Grey is an investigator of occult phenomena who arrives in the town of Courtempierre, not far from Paris.

To mark the tenth anniversary of Mladen Stilinović's death, the Cultural and Information Centre will open an exhibition of his photographs, films and installations in the Upper Floor Gallery on Saturday, 10 October at 1 pm.

The Initiative for a Free Palestine and Dokukino invite you to a screening of the film Gaza Eyewitnesses, based on the testimonies of people from Gaza.

This year marks the centenary of the birth of Miljenko Stančić, a Croatian painter and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. 

For the film audience, Surogatkino KIC is lending four films and presenting them as a series of discussion screenings.

On Monday 5 October at 7 pm at the KIC, the guest speaker at the ‘Zagreb's Urban Public Spaces – Past and Future’ talk will be Tin Sven Franić, an architect and a full professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb.
